In Tennessee, a few simple legislative updates could increase state revenues, reduce enforcement costs, expand consumer access, and support Tennessee agriculture.

BTW, I have a teenager. They don't drink wine, and no way would they pay the price for most wine plus the delivery fees. I think the age verification excuse is way overblown. Most wineries are being told that the younger folks aren't drinking wine, so why would someone under 21 be any different? It's just an excuse to limit DTC. Smoke and mirrors to cover for the distributors.
Why wouldn’t they do it is a great question. It mainly stems from the legislators need more education outside of simple the contributions by the wholesalers and large producers to create as many road bumps as possible for the smaller producers. That is why when you look at the redline, only items are removed, nothing is added and yet there is no diminishing of regulatory concerns of minors buying or taxes not being paid. Simple win for everyone.
