This is the best write up about the debacle we faced this year with Glut of imported cheap bulk wines that, not only contributed to the glut, but caused many growers and craft wineries to abandon their fruit on the vines, and in some instances declared bankruptcy, while the main federal Congressional TAX beneficiaries were distributors and very large wineries. I was wondering where were our representatives in congress during this time?

Yep, we just need to give them a prod. Maybe they are doing things behind the scenes, but hey, they should share that news. What we are pretty sure about is that they are not doing anything to help our domestic business. There are three parts to change. Educate, Legislate, or Litigate and it is such a shame it always falls to litigate.
